The content speaks for itself and begs the question— “Why was Schwarzenegger too busy impregnating women and running a state when he was clearly born to record commentaries?”
Video: Schwarzenegger working as a construction worker
Schwarzenegger Commentary: “Here, dis is my job. I’m a construction vorker.”
Video: Schwarzenegger getting hit in the crotch
Schwarzenegger Commentary: “Ow! Dat hurt!”
Video: Schwarzenegger using a man as a human shield
Schwarzenegger Commentary: [LAUGHING] “I continuously used him as a human shield, then I threw him down the escalator.”
The video continues on like this and really makes me want him to commentate on my life.
“Danny is ordering a sub in the line from Subway.”
“Dere is Danny sitting in class.”
[Me getting shot] “Ow! Dat hurt!”

“I really wanted to be a Jew, and then I found out that I was really a Nazi, because, you know, my family was German.Which also gave me some pleasure. What can I say? I understand Hitler, but I think he did some wrong things, yes, absolutely. But I can see him sitting in his bunker in the end. He’s not what you would call a good guy, but I understand much about him, and I sympathize with him a little bit. But come on, I’m not for the Second World War, and I’m not against Jews. I am very much for Jews. No, not too much, because Israel is a pain in the ass. How can I get out of this sentence?” - Lars von Trier
Lars, you need to learn when to shut up, but after hearing this, I have a MUCH better understanding of where your art comes from.

Melancholia (2011)
This is probably my most anticipated movie of the year. Nothing matches the visuals of a Von Trier film.

The reason why I attempt this every time I eat dinner.

Chaplin wanted to be remembered for this one and I can see why. This one takes dark subject matter and makes it hilarious, with a refinement that only Chaplin could bring to screen. The “dinner potato dance” and the “house over the cliff” scenes are standouts.
